The Echo Point lookout is the gateway to many great walks and nature experiences in the area. Here are some of the walking tracks that can be explored:

  • Echo Point to Skyway East Station: This trail seamlessly combines the iconic vistas of Echo Point with the modern marvels of Scenic World, creating an unforgettable experience for someone seeking both panoramic views and immersive adventures. Skyway East Station is one of the stations of the Scenic Skyway you will come across along the path, a cable car that take you on a 720-meter journey between cliff tops with panoramic views of World Heritage landscapes.

As you continue along the trail, you'll gradually make your way towards a well-maintained track that leads you through a winding path enveloped by native vegetation and viewpoints.

As the path winds into the track, you'll eventually reach the captivating destination of Scenic World. This innovative attraction provides a seamless blend of nature and technology, offering a chance to experience the Blue Mountains' grandeur in a truly unique way.

Scenic World offers a range of exciting rides and experiences. Here are the rides available at Scenic World:

Scenic Railway: Often referred to as the steepest passenger railway in the world, the Scenic Railway is a thrilling ride that descends into the heart of the Jamison Valley. As the incline approaches an astonishing 52 degrees, the 360-meter track takes you through lush rainforest, providing glimpses of towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls. Originally built to transport coal miners, the railway now offers a heart-pounding journey into the valley, with varying degrees of excitement depending on whether you choose the 'Cliffhanger' or 'Laid Back' seating positions.

Scenic Skyway:  Scenic Skyway is a suspended cable car that offers a glass-floored experience, providing panoramic views of the Blue Mountains landscape from an elevated vantage point. As you glide across the valley, you're treated to awe-inspiring sights, including the iconic Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls, and the dense eucalyptus forests. The Skyway also features a unique feature – the ability to walk on air as you step onto the glass-bottomed cabin floor.

Scenic Cableway: The Scenic Cableway takes you back to the clifftop from the valley floor, providing a relaxed journey with spacious cabins. This 545-meter journey offers yet another opportunity to soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you ascend, the sheer magnitude of the landscape becomes even more apparent, showcasing the grandeur of the Blue Mountains' ancient rock formations and lush vegetation.

Scenic Walkway: The Scenic Walkway is a non-ride attraction but allows you to experience the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains. The 2.4km walkway winds through ancient rainforest, offering a chance to explore the lush vegetation and discover the rich biodiversity of the area. The walkway is a well-designed boardwalk that winds through ancient rainforest, providing access to unique vantage points, informative displays, and even a replica coal mine.

Three Sisters Walk: This is a short walk that takes you to the base of the Three Sisters rock formation. The track is 1.3 km return and takes around 30 minutes to complete.

Prince Henry Cliff Walk: This is a scenic walk that offers stunning views of the Jamison Valley and the Three Sisters. I managed to come across several lookouts in the 4.12Km walk along the Prince Henry Cliff track.
