Gardners Falls: A Hidden Gem in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland for a Refreshing Dip

Gardners Falls is a hidden gem in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, and it's a perfect spot for a refreshing dip and a scenic walk. The falls are located on the banks of the Obi Obi Creek, and the falls are a favourite swimming hole amongst locals in the touristy town of Maleny. The bush surrounds are beautiful, and you can hear all the birdlife noises. The amenities along the track are well-maintained, and the walk downstream to the falls is short and level. The falls are easy to access, and the walk is suitable for all ages. The falls are also perfect for families with kids.

I visited Gardners Falls on a sunny Sunday morning, and it was a perfect way to relax and unwind after a busy week. The drive to the falls was scenic, and we arrived at the car park around 10 am. The car park was already half-full, but we managed to find a spot easily. We packed our bags with towels, sunscreen, and water and started our walk towards the falls. The walk was easy, and we reached the falls in less than 10 minutes.

Gardners Falls has a parking lot that is easily accessible for all abilities. The parking lot is located at the end of Obi Lane South, and it has around 20 spaces available. During peak times, the parking lot can fill up quickly, so it's best to arrive early to secure a spot. The parking lot is well-maintained, and there are no fees for parking.

Gardners Falls has a waterless composting toilet located near the car park. The path to the toilet is easy to navigate, and also accessible for people with disabilities.

The falls is a popular swimming hole amongst locals and visitors alike, and the water was crystal clear. We could see the rocks at the bottom of the pool, and it was inviting us to dip in. The water was cold, but it was refreshing, and we felt rejuvenated.

Gardners Falls is not only a great spot for swimming and exploring, but it also has picnic tables nearby. The picnic area is located near the car park, and it's perfect for families and groups of friends who want to enjoy a meal in nature. The picnic tables are well-maintained, and there are a few of them to choose from.

During my visit to Gardners Falls, I saw many people swimming and enjoying the water. The swimming hole is safe to swim in, and there are no dangerous currents or rocks. The water is cold, but it's refreshing, especially on a hot day.

The swimming hole is also perfect for families with kids, as there is a rope swing that adds extra fun to the experience. The rope swing is located near the falls, and it's a popular spot for kids and adults alike.
